I know I sound like a broken record in my posts following First Fridays, but I can't help it! If you have attended any of our First Fridays, you know why. Downtown Greenville was packed with people of all ages from all over Darke County and beyond! An estimated 1,500 people joined us for this event. We hope when you view these photos, you can see why First Fridays are so important to our community. The amount of hometown pride I have following a First Friday event is immeasurable and I truly hope you feel the same way. Notice the friends, families, and neighbors socializing and smiling. Notice the gorgeous historic buildings and the way the sunlight reflects for a perfect backdrop. Notice the wonderful small businesses that enhance our quality of life, packed without an empty seat. Thank you to everyone who joined us, to all of the businesses who participated and stayed open late, to all of the talented musicians, and to our sponsor who provided financial support to bring this event to our community – The Law Office of Randall E. Breaden, LLC! If you joined us last night, tag yourself in our photos and please share your thoughts in the comments section! We would love to hear your thoughts! If you missed this First Friday, no worries! They are a monthly celebration! Join us for July's event, which will be held on July 11th (since the actual First Friday falls on the Fourth of July). We will have Lunch on the Lawn in the afternoon at the Greenville Public Library and we have rescheduled our Petting Zoo / Volunteer Fair for this night, followed by Theater on Third (an outdoor movie!). It is sure to be another fabulous evening downtown Greenville!
