Luckily the weather (sort of) behaved and we were able to hold our Downtown Planting Day this morning!
I wasn't able to get photos of all our volunteers, but THANK YOU to every single one of you. It is amazing we can plant/mulch over 80 different flower boxes/pots in less than 2 hours. It would not be possible without the help of our volunteers.
Also, many thanks to BASF, Miller Flowers Greenhouse & Florist, and Dave Knapp Ford, Lincoln for their support of this program - along with everyone who adopts the boxes and pots. We also appreciate Greenville Lowe's for their assistance with mulch and dirt.
I also want to take a moment to thank the Ladybug Garden Club. They volunteer to plant the fountain area and the hanging baskets on the circle. They planted earlier this week and it looks amazing. Great job, ladies!
And last but not least, thank you to the City of Greenville Street Department who always help us in countless ways to keep downtown clean and beautiful.
It takes many people to help keep downtown Greenville looking great, and we are so fortunte to have many people who are willing and excited to help. :)
